The 8th edition of the Irish film festival will host ‘No.3 Azar Shahr. Street’ produced by Mohsen Amiryousefi in Feature Film section of the event.
The screenplay of the 78-min film is inspired by a true story which addresses the potential problems facing immigrants returning home after years.
“Roja, a migrant woman, who has lost her husband in Germany returns to his home country (Iran) to manage his inheritance, only to realize he had a child from another marriage which complicates the situation,” reads as a plot summery of the flick.
According to the official announcement made by the festival, the screening of Iran 2019 social drama is scheduled for January 25.
Arusha Beigi, Behnaz Jafari, Sadaf Asgari, Khosro Pesiani and Atila Pesiani make the cast team of the movie.
Founded in 2012, SRIFF provides a framework on how intercultural understanding and collaboration can be forged even outside the realm of cinema. SRIFF aims to narrow distances between people and cultures, to break boundaries and foster cross-cultural collaboration and social change.
The festival is being held in January to coincide with the celebrations of the Chinese New Year
The Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is scheduled for January 21-25, 2020 in Dublin, Ireland.
